Practical resources to support learning at home

I create resources for use in my own tutoring sessions, often inspired by the children I work with and the different ways they learn best.

Here you'll find a mixture of games, activities and curriculum-based resources designed to support learning in English and maths. Some are created to make particular skills more engaging, while others are designed to help parents and home educators understand the knowledge and skills children are expected to develop at different stages.

Where relevant, resources are linked to National Curriculum objectives, making it easier to identify what your child is working towards and choose activities that support their next steps.

A collection of simple maths games using dice to make number practice more engaging. Pack 1 develops counting, number recognition and early addition skills, while Pack 2 moves on to mental addition and subtraction, place value and all four operations.

Punctuation Tic Tac Toe

Turn punctuation practice into a game of noughts and crosses! Before placing a nought or cross, players must write a sentence using the punctuation shown in their chosen square. Includes two levels, with Level 2 introducing a wider range of more advanced punctuation.
